Connectors.
Every Meta Muse connector in one list: what it unlocks, the exact permissions it asks for, and a 60-second setup. Built-in, custom, and browser-fallback options covered.
What is a connector?
A permission slip between Muse and an app you already use.
Without connectors, Muse can only chat. With them, it can see your inbox, calendar, bank feed or playlists — and act on them: draft the reply, book the table, flag the overspend. You approve the meaningful stuff; the busywork happens on its own.
👀 It can see
Read emails, calendars, transactions, lab results — whatever you connect, read-only first.
⚡ It can do
Draft, book, summarize, remind, track. One ask turns into finished work, not more tabs.
🔒 You stay in charge
Approve sends and purchases one by one. Revoke any connector in 10 seconds.
Turn anything off.
Every connector is a switch, not a marriage. Nothing here is permanent, and turning things off is a normal part of using Muse — not a breakup.
1 · Disconnect
Muse → Connectors → pick the app → Disconnect. Ten seconds. Muse immediately loses access; your data stays safe in the original app.
2 · Tune approvals
Keep the connection but tighten it: allow once, always allow, or deny — per action. Sends, purchases, and sharing always ask first.
3 · Start read-only
Nervous? Tell Muse "read-only to start." It can look but not touch — upgrade to actions later, one approval at a time.

Meta Muse connectors: questions
- What is a Muse connector?
- A permission slip between Muse and an app you already use. It defines what Muse may read and what it must ask before doing — so Gmail, your calendar or your bank feed become something it can work with instead of just talk about.
- Which Muse connector should I connect first?
- Start with one you can verify quickly and revoke easily — Gmail or Google Calendar. Keep it read-only, run a single task, then add the next connector only when a task needs it.
- How do I disconnect a Muse connector?
- Muse → Connectors → pick the app → Disconnect. Access stops immediately and your data stays in the original app. You can also tighten approvals first if you want to keep the connection but limit what Muse may do.
